Project description:
It was in 2004 that Robin Hood Ministries started the child sponsorship scheme in the city of Iasi, Romania. The project brings hope, dignity and joy to children living in extreme poverty, and to provide those little extras that say ‘someone cares for you’. Just £20 per month will make a real difference to a child’s life. It will be spent in the areas indicated, but as each child has individual needs, this may differ on a case by case basis.

- Clothing and shoes
- School books and equipment
- Medical expenses - for many an unaffordable luxury
- A monthly trip out – a treat that children in the UK take for granted
- A special Birthday celebration
- Educational needs
As with all projects supported by Robin Hood, the project will be carefully and regularly monitored. Regular reports including photographs will be provided to sponsors.
