Val Huxley
Chief Executive Officer
Val joined Robin Hood Ministries in April 2005 to join her husband Bill following a life changing visit to Romania. With a great sense of mission Val left her family and her Kent home behind to support the administration of the then fledgling charity. Few would argue that since then Val has been the main stay of the charity whilst going through many changes over the last few years serving selflessly. She is hugely respected by our project partners oversees and much loved by the hundreds of children and families of those the charity supports. Val is fired with a passion for the mission’s objectives in serving God and helping the poor in our international projects. Along with Bill, they regularly worship at Freedom Bath and Bristol church.
Kirsten Ottley
Chief Finance Officer
Kirsten joined us in February 2006. An associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, she brings valuable expertise to our financial planning and management. Kirsten works closely with Val Huxley as CFO on all financial aspects of the charity, acts as Company Secretary to the charity and also works hard in bringing up two young children, Thomas and Charlotte.
Michelle Addai
Fundraiser/Office Professional
Michelle has a background of administration and fundraising in various organisations, including a local and an international charity. She has a Masters in Globalisation and Development and a heart for the poor and marginalised of this world. An Associate Member of the Institute of Fundraising, Michelle makes sure that all our office proceedures, events and campaigns run smoothly. Married to Kobe, a Ghanaian Pharmacist working in the Bath area they worship at Bath City Church.
Diana Bingham
Bookeeper
Diana and her husband moved from South Africa to the UK in 2005, at the end of which she made the connection with Robin Hood. Well-qualified in the practical aspects of day-to-day finance management, Diana provides valuable part-time support to Kirsten - ensuring that the books are kept in the best of order.
Volunteers
We have several regular volunteers that give up their time to work in the office giving support to the team covering all areas. We also have a stream of volunteers who we can always rely on when running any events.
