MEET THE TEAM
Kirsten Ottley – Finance and Operations Manager
Kirsten joined us in February 2006, . An associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, she brings valuable expertise to our financial planning and management. She has responsibility for the day-to-day running of the charity, ensuring that the charity remains focused on meeting its primary aims and goals and that we are doing what we should be doing and when we should be doing it.
Val Huxley – Child Sponsorship Manager/Trip co-ordinator
Val and her husband Bill came to join Robin Hood in April 2005, following a meeting with the founder Paul Skelton at the New Wine conference in 2004 and a trip to Romania. Val was appointed Office Manager after 6 years valuable experience as the Administration Co-ordinator for a large Children’s home. Fired with a passion for the charity’s projects, she also has special responsibility for promoting the Child Sponsorship scheme to individuals and businesses, the co-ordination of all Awareness Trips and keeping all project based communications ongoing.
Joy Fraser - Business Enterprise & Events
Joy joined us in July 2007 and she looks after business enterprise & events. Joy formally worked for Bath Christian Trust as Manager of the Forum, home of Bath City Church. She was experienced in Event Management and previously ran the students travel shop at the University of Bath.
Diana Bingham - Part time Bookeeper
Diana and her husband moved from South Africa to the UK in 2005, at the end of which she made the connection with Robin Hood. Well-qualified in the practical aspects of day-to-day finance management, she provides valuable part-time support to Kirsten - ensuring that the books are kept in the best of order.
Amanda Bingham - Admin Assistant
Amanda joined us in February 2008. Previously she has worked locally for Virgin Mobile, The consortium and Helphire. Her expertise is dealing with customer service, disputes, staff training and problem solving.
