Bill Huxley

Chair of Trustees

Bill

Bill first involvement with RHM was in 2004 following a trip to Romania with his wife Valerie. Such was the impact of the plight of the poor in Eastern Europe Bill volunteered 3 months of his time in supporting its founder.  That 3 months turned into years after he and Valerie moved home to the west country to engage with the fight against poverty on a permanent basis. Since then he has served in a variety of volunteer roles including an 18 month spell leading RHM as Managing Trustee and now currently in the support role as Chair of Trustees.

Formerly Bill worked in a number of executive positions for blue chip companies and retired as Managing Director after a long and successful career in the Electronic Security Industry. Not one for standing still Bill has undertaken intensive training in Therapeutic Counselling and life-coaching and continued following his mission with RHM. Bill’s day job is Counselling, a therapist working as an inner city practitioner and he enjoys working with young people some of whom are the most vunerable in our society. Neil Donovan

Business Owner and Direct Sales expert

Neil

Following a career within the military where Neil predominantly trained and led teams through hostile situations including the first Gulf war, Bosnia and Northern Ireland, he decided to settle in Bath. He had fallen in love with the city, not least because of its closeness to his main passion, rugby. After cutting his teeth with leading media companies he was head hunted to build a sales team for Norwich Union to launch a brand new property portal selling directly to the real estate world. Leaving Norwich Union to set up his own business Spinnakersales.com Neil became passionate about generating a new standard in sales that would lead the field. This new standard – ‘The Spinnaker Way’ would achieve financially rewarding solutions for all involved. Spinnaker was launched in November 2003 as there was an obvious gap in the market.
