Why do we need Ambassadors?
Robin Hood Ministries is a small charity with limited resources doing extra-ordinary things to break the cycle of poverty in partnership with project partners in developing countries. It can only survive with the good will of its volunteers, who help to achieve its goals and aims so as to maximise the funds going to projects.
What will the Ambassadors aims be?
- To raise the profile of Robin
- Hood Ministries in their communities and to promote its goals and aims
- To raise funds on behalf of Robin Hood Ministries in support of its projects
- To increase the number of children sponsored under Robin Hood Ministries Child Sponsorship Scheme
- To raise awareness of poverty and our Christian response to it
Who are our Ambassadors?
- Individuals who want to support our work and have a heart for the poor and vulnerable
- Child Sponsors who are already a part of our Child Sponsorship Scheme
- Past trippers who have seen first hand the poverty families are living in and want to help
What will the Ambassadors do?
- Recruit more Child Sponsors from friends, colleagues and family
- Organise local fundraising events
- Give presentations in their communities with the aim of:
- Raising the profile of Robin Hood Ministries
- Recruiting more child sponsors
- Recruiting more fundraisers for Robin Hood Ministries
- Encouraging donations for Robin Hood Ministries projects
- Recruit people to Robin Hood’s Awareness Trips
